Lucid Learning Group Communities is a language training & learning project based on community principles. It aims to provide inspiration, resources and technical help for language trainers who want to learn about online language training techniques, strategies and content creation at the same time as giving language learners quality, free language learning opportunities.
The initiative is based on two interconnected sites
Lucid Learning Group Communities: A Joomla based community building site. Membership is free. The Site features 2 seperate, but connectable communities - LTC for trainers & LLC for learners; create your profile, connect with peers, use IM and email tools to communicate, open language forums, blogs, publish training articles, share materials through the downloads centre, create interest groups.
Lucid Learning Group FreeBridge: Creating an account on LLG Communities gives automatic access to FreeBridge - a powerful, dynamic Moodle Learning management system. Trainers can use FreeBridge to experiment their online training content in a safe environment and before publishing it to the Learning community. The learners will give trainers valuable feedback allowing trainers to perfect their materials.
